Since 1996 the traditional old university town of Jena in Germany houses five sculptures of the Hudson River Valley Series by Frank Stella, one of the most well-known postwar American painters. The photographs of this calendar not only represents copies of these artworks, in fact they show us only reflections of a polish steel panel at the 'Newburgh' sculpture and allows in this way a dialog between the artwork, the photographer and the surrounding area.
