Aussie journalist has always had a penchant for the unpredictable and the chaotic. It is no wonder then, that among the many places he visits, he falls in love with a part of history - a town in old India built in the era of the Dutch. An offer by his Australian publishing house to visit and research the culture of Kochi, in the Southern State of Kerala, whets his fascination to learn more of the town and its people - their culture, literary standing and dialect. The offer paves the way to a journey that would lead to life changing decisions and long standing friends. It is destiny to most, karma to a few but primarily it is Adam's passion for the wanderlust and his uncanny penchant for this little Township that leads him on a trip of discovery and commitment. Perhaps it is Adam's ability to deliver on what he seeks out that gives the whole unforeseen set of events to follow, the impetus to 'live' like the genie in Aladdin's lamp! Despite astute judgement from his very clear headed friends, and adversity in all shape and form, will Adam fulfil his objective and prove that this is no freak accident after all??
