“You do know you’re talking about the damn graphy capital of the world, right?”

Back matter:
Ask a room full of people what the word “suburbia” brings to mind, and you’ll likely hear things like: peaceful, family-oriented, charming, and well groomed. But when a convicted pedophile ends up dead behind the local ice cream parlor, law enforcement has little to go on, especially since Los Angeles Sheriff Samantha Pritchard is still reeling over the loss of her soul mate, Maria.
Nothing seems amiss, but behind the curtains of those sweet suburban houses lie secrets, dark, cruel and insidious, which stand in for block parties and neighborly gatherings. In a case unlike any the Iron Eagle has encountered, someone is extracting revenge…but how will that play with the Eagle’s own sense of justice?
Inside flap:
Human trafficking and sexual slavery are Third World problems…or are they? In a quiet enclave in Los Angeles County, a covert group of traffickers has been building a clientele and getting rich off the backs of humans using cruel and inhumane practices. Mary Owen, a successful real estate agent in the suburbs, has a secret, and her 17-year-old daughter Sally has become a success in her own right as both a successful student in an expensive private school by day and an “accommodating female escort” with sexual skills beyond her years by night. She also recruits other children into a world of deviancy in her suburban neighborhood.  There’s only one catch, though, an accidental “recruit” has taken up the mantle usually wielded by the Iron Eagle in a case that has him testing his own decisions about how justice should be handled.
