A form of family therapy that is suitable for both children and parents is still the exception to this day. The reason for this seems to be primarily the lack of suitable concepts for family-inclusive therapy or counseling. The graduate psychologist Joseph Richter is both a trained psychomotor and systemic therapist and is now presenting such a concept. Systemic-psychomotor family counseling includes parents and children alike, thus bridging the gap between counseling services tailored to parents and isolated child psychotherapy.
