In addition to the Donauberglandweg and the Donau-Zollernalb-Weg, numerous mostly themed cycling and hiking trails run through the southwest of the Swabian Jura. Light-flooded forests alternate with lonely plateaus, an unspoilt, unique and unmistakable landscape attracts visitors with legendary rocks, rare flowers and animals as well as breathtaking views. In addition, the fossil museum in Dotternhausen, the carnival museum Narrenburg in Hettingen, one of the largest accessible stalactite caves near Fridingen and the magnificent Sigmaringen Castle are just waiting to be discovered.
