Smokin・ ・ Hydrophonic・ ・ is a collection of short stories written by Jeffrey Boosie・ ・ Bolden. Smokin・ ・ Hydrophonic・ ・ contains many different short stories ranging from many different topics from a young, black urban superhero who despite his bad past has to come to terms with being the Earth・ ・s champion to a New Orleans native who has to fend for his life in a post-apocalyptic New Orleans to a Baltimore drug dealer who has to fend for his corner, fighting enemies and friends, but all these stories have one thing in common: music. Every story was inspired by a specific song Jeffrey Boosie・ ・ Bolden has heard, and he took that song and contemplated on what that specific song made him think about, artists ranging from * C to Lil・ ・ Wayne to LOX. And thus the idea of Smokin・ ・ Hydrophonic・ ・, a title that was inspired by the late, great Southern legend Chad * C・ ・ Butler himself, was born.
