Between 1883 and 1909 a team of scholars led by Hermann Diels produced 15,000 pages of edited text of commentaries on Aristotle in Greek from the 2nd to the 13th Century AD. This collection constitutes a fundamental resource for the interpretation of Aristotle's own texts.

Commentaries on Aristotle's writings have been produced since the 2nd century AD. This edition contains Greek commentaries on his work from the 3rd to the 8th centuries AD by, among others, Alexander of Aphrodiensias, Themistios, Joh. Philoponus, Simplicius in Greek.
