A startlingly funny and deeply moving play about the commodification of memory, the legacy of trauma and the stories we pass on. UK premiere at Southwark Playhouse, London, in 2026.

'This is what we do. Jewish people. This is how we survive – by telling stories and making sure that the things that happened, the people who are no longer here, live on.'

In the near future, tech company Memoriam can extract and repackage human memories as immersive VR experiences. So, when her grandmother becomes the last living Holocaust survivor, Memoriam employee Rachel sees an opportunity to safeguard an invaluable piece of history.

Memoriam is a searing look at the commodification of memory, the legacy of trauma and the stories we pass on. Startlingly funny and deeply moving, Noga Flaishon's play was first performed at Main Street Theatre, Texas, in 2025, and received its UK premiere at Southwark Playhouse, London, in 2026.
