Upon his release Brady joins up with an old prospector, Sourdough Lamar, and together they are heading for Winnemucca, where Cheyenne has inherited a blacksmithing business from his father. But when Brady's old gang, led by Big-Nose Rafe Culpepper, plans to rob the town's bank, Cheyenne is accused of masterminding the hold-up.
